Phil Ivey is LAPC Bubble Boy
As was discussed a few days ago, Phil Ivey played his first poker tournament in the United States since Black Friday. The tournament in question was the WPT L.A. Poker Classic, and his performance can be viewed with mixed emotions.
Despite rarely playing in tournaments over the past few months, Ivey managed to make a solid run at cashing in the LAPC.

However, he ran into a crippling hand against AJ Jejelowo towards the end of Day 3 where he lost two-thirds of his chip stack; just a short while after this, he busted out of the tournament as the bubble boy.
Phil Ivey wasn't alone though since plenty of other big names such as Phil Hellmuth, Vanessa Rousso, Erick Lindgren, Yevgenij Timoshenko, Barry Greenstein, Jennifer Harman and Liv Boeree all busted out as well.
With 54 players left going into Day 4, here is a look at the LAPC Main Event chip leaders:
1. Tuan Phan - 1.1 million chips 2. Jason Somerville - 860k chips 3. Joe Tehan - 831k chips 4. Casey Stewart - 791k chips 5. Larry Greenberg - 707k chips
